Enjoy the benefits of getting a good night’s sleep. Try these tips:

  1. Set a sleep schedule and try to stick to it, even on the weekends. If you take a nap, be sure to nap early and keep it short (30 minutes or less).

  2. Limit caffeine, especially during the afternoon and evening.

  3. Exercise regularly (give your body a reason to be tired!), eat healthy, and get some sunlight and fresh air everyday (remember the sunscreen!).

  4. End your busy day by taking time to unwind with quiet activities like reading, drinking some tea, or taking a warm bath or shower.

  5. Play some relaxing music and create a soothing sleep environment by minimizing bright lights, noises, and other distractions. Turn off the TV.

  6. Your body might be tired but your mind might be restless. To relax both body and mind, check out our tips on ways to relax.
