Feeling comfortable in your own skin can be difficult. And because your body goes through changes throughout your life, learning to appreciate and accept your body can be a lifelong process. It’s important to remember that even if you are able to lose the weight you want to lose, this may not lead you to body image bliss.

Having a more positive body image involves seeing yourself as a whole person (not just how you look or how much you weigh) and learning to accept, appreciate, and even love the parts that you wish were different. This can be a challenge, but you can take charge of how you feel about yourself by creating a more positive body image:
